Mylacea harnesses the natural capabilities of Paecilomyces lilacinus, an entomopathogenic fungus, serving as a bio-control agent specifically designed for nematode management in agricultural settings.
Active Ingredients
Formulated with a minimum concentration of 1x108 CFU/ml in Liquid-Based and 1x108 CFU/gm in Carrier-Based options, Mylacea relies on the natural power of Paecilomyces lilacinus, ensuring a targeted approach to nematode control without falling under pharmaceutical or healthcare categories.Benefits
Mylacea is adept at controlling nematode-related issues. It efficiently targets pests such as red spider mites, thrips, aphids, leaf rollers, and other caterpillars in tea and various field crops.Method of Application
Choose the right application method based on your needs: 1 liter per acre for Liquid-Based or 3 kg per acre for Carrier-Based. For foliar spray, mix 2 to 3 ml or 5 g of Mylacea in 1 litre of water and apply on both the upper and lower leaf surfaces.Suitable for Crops
Mylacea is recommended for use on crops such as turmeric, pulses, tea, mustard, tobacco, banana, and vegetables, providing comprehensive nematode protection for a variety of agricultural settings.Mode of Action
Mylacea's mode of action involves the spores germinating upon contact with nematodes, penetrating through the cuticle, and multiplying in the haemolymph. This process inhibits metabolism, leading to the total paralysis of physiological functions and ensuring the demise of the nematodes. Within 5 to 7 days after application, red spider mites are entirely enveloped by the mycelium of Paecilomyces fumosoroseus.
